We are looking to fill an executive-level technology position with a Fortune 500 company located in Chicago, IL.

Qualifications:BS/Master’s/Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a similar field15+ years of progressive information technology experience with increasing levels of responsibilities10+ years of proven experience as a Director of Software Development at a Fortune 500 company6+ years of hands-on project management and professional software development using C#, Java, or C++, plus an understanding of RDBMS design and optimization practices.Knowledge of IT security practices, distributed systems, containerization, common automation tools (Jenkins/SOS Job scheduler, etc.), CICD toolsets (GIT, Atlassian, Gitlab, etc.), and the Microsoft Visual Studio/DotNet development environments.Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, and continuous integration/delivery.Deep technical background developed from experience working with various applications and technologies to evaluate design alternatives and their time/cost/performance tradeoffs.Comprehensive understanding of software development life cycle. Passionate about staying current on modern solutions and best practices.
