Job Summary
The position of Barista is responsible for making and selling coffee, drinks and food items to Members and their guests.
Day-to-Day
Educates Members by presenting the menu and answering questions.Sells coffees by explaining differences in coffee beans, coffee preparation machines and demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.Maintains inventories by replenishing and restocking coffee bean supply, brewing equipment, supplies, pastries, and cookies for the coffee bar.Keeps equipment operable by following operating instructions, maintaining supplies, and performing preventive maintenance calling for repairs.Improves the appearance of the store and coffee bar to drive up sales.
About You
Six months experience as a barista.Excellent communication skills and articulate speech. Ability to follow instructions well. Possesses a passion for exceeding Member expectations and a commitment to excellence that results in providing the highest quality Member and guest experience.
