Job Description

We are seeking a Inkmaker/Ink Tech to work with us. We have a very competitive starting pay plus a shift differential when applicable. The person in this role will tend mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind the raw materials for manufacturing of high-quality printing ink by performing any or all of these duties as directed. As an Ink Maker/Ink Tech you will be responsible for:

Following batch instructions to weight batches, charge and mix inksUnderstanding proper mixing procedures and raw materialsMonitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjust as neededFollowing procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill ratesFollowing procedures to filter, package and label inksMaking QC adjustments as instructedWeighting quantities of raw materials for use in manufacturing of high quality printing inkOperating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials for manufacturing of high quality printing inkPackaging finished productOperating a forklift

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to

Have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Be able to lift up to 55 lbs. Have basic math, communications and mechanical logic skills

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

Previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 monthsForklift experienceThe ability to work overtime and/or weekends

Pay

The starting rate for this position is $22.00 per hour.

Hours

This is a 2nd shift position, between the hours of 3pm-11pm Monday through Friday.
