Job Description

We are seeking a Technical Service Representative (Metal Deco Ink) to work with us. This person will report to the Technical 2-Piece Manager for performance of assigned functions and coordinates with Inplant Technicians and Managers. The person in this role will be required to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%. As a Technical Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

Performing Technical Service investigations in the local Lab or at customer locationsPerforming color matches and formula optimizationsInventory management and record-keepingHousekeeping, purchasing and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to

Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalentMust be able to pass a color vision testHave the ability and willingness to travelBe able to match colors effectivelyDemonstrate excellent customer service skillsEffectively communicate with peers and customersHave good and effective written, reading comprehension, and verbal skillsBe able to interpret data and draw effective conclusions

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

Have an associate degree in chemistry or equivalent SAP experience and proficient with Microsoft Suite programs. 3-5 years in the ink industry and experience in commercial printing
