Spanish-English | Bilingual Proofreader/Content editor Join, Lead, and Succeed with iOPEX Technologies. Be an iOPEXian now! We are hiring for Spanish Bilingual professionals who wants to join our #iopexhappy@work team. Our team is looking for a proofreader and editor who will be responsible for editing a wide range of content for news stories and digital properties in multiple platforms with variety of tones and styles.
Responsibilities:Stay attuned to the news cycle throughout the day, making editorial decisions on pushing notifications to diverse audience segments.Demonstrate an understanding of audience behaviors to strategically push articles to targeted groups for heightened engagement.Leverage bilingual skills to label data for Generative AI projects, ensuring accuracy and relevance.Collaborate with AI development teams to understand project requirements and contribute insights from an editorial perspective.Maintain consistency and quality in labeling tasks, adhering to project guidelines and timelines.Contribute to the continuous improvement of data labeling processes, providing feedback and suggestions for optimization.
Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, or a related field is required.Minimum of 1 year of editorial experience in a fast-paced breaking news environment is essential.Superior news judgment, consummate editorial skills, and enthusiasm for covering daily stories within a 24/7 news cycle.Ability to think strategically about the audience, media, and operate within the economic landscape.Excellent writing skills with a keen eye for detail and clarity.Strong team player with effective communication and collaboration skills.Demonstrated ability to work independently, navigate ambiguous situations, identify and solve blockers with minimal guidance.Proficiency in bilingual communication (English and Spanish) is mandatory.Time Zone / Location preference: Pacific Time Zone (6AM-8PM Window)Candidate must be based in the USA preferably near West Coast.
