Senior Estimator - Commercial ConstructionLocation - Raleigh, NC

A well-established general contractor in Raleigh, NC, is experiencing exciting growth within their commercial construction division. The team has surpassed $25 million in revenue and is on track to double that figure within the next two years. They specialize in a diverse range of upfit & renovation projects, including:Educational facilities (K-12 and Higher Education)State and municipal projectsPre-engineered metal buildings
To support this current growth trajectory, they are seeking a highly motivated Senior Estimator to join the team. You'll play a leadership role, providing expertise and guidance while collaborating with colleagues to ensure exceptional project estimates.
Responsibilities:Prepare comprehensive, accurate cost estimates for commercial construction projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractors.Manage the estimating process, from project inception to bid submission.Analyze project plans, specifications, and blueprints to determine the scope of work.Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to refine project details and costs.Negotiate and secure subcontractor bids to achieve the most competitive pricing.Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.Review and analyze completed projects to identify areas for cost improvement in future estimates.Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence in estimating practices.
