Roles and Responsibilities:Operational – 50% of the timeEnforce safety policies, ensuring the well-being of team members, customers, and visitors.Oversee inbound, stocking, and outbound processes to ensure efficient receipt and delivery of inventory.Maintain an on-time delivery rate greater than 97%.Conduct daily cycle counting and audits on operational processes.Provide training, coaching, and feedback to DC employees.Ensure inventory accuracy and resolve discrepancies.Supervisory – 50% of the timeGuide employees in daily operations, emphasizing safety, quality, and productivity.Act as a change agent, promoting communication and feedback.Resolve employee conflicts in line with company guidelines.Conduct performance reviews, participate in hiring and termination processes.Provide immediate feedback to employees through factual data and observations.Collaborate with Plant Manager and HR for disciplinary actions.Analyze and present DC performance to executives, recommending improvements.Schedule employee vacations while maintaining service levels.Work with Plant Manager to develop short-term and long-term planning.

Qualifications:High School Diploma.3+ years of leadership experience in a distribution/fulfillment center.3+ years of experience managing a team of 6 to 15 employees.Inventory control, cycle counting, and standard work instruction experience.Strong problem-solving skills and continuous improvement mindset.Knowledge of ERP, TMS, WMS, and Microsoft Office.Material handling equipment operation experience, PIT certification is a plus.Familiarity with OSHA regulations, OSHA-10 certification is a plus.Excellent communication skills and ability to adapt communication style.Lean-Six Sigma continuous improvement experience is desirable.

Working Environment:Non-climate-controlled environment both inside and outside of the building.

Physical Requirements:Work may require standing and walking for up to 75% of the time.Physically strenuous; ability to lift heavy packages up to 75 pounds.
