WHAT DOES YOUR DAY ENTAIL?
As a Cost Analyst Contractor, you'll scrutinize our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) from end to end, ensuring optimal efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Additionally, you will develop comprehensive inventory reporting mechanisms. Collaborating closely with the chief financial officer (CFO), you'll undertake the creation and costing of new items, establishing standardized costs to guide financial decision-making.
REQUIREMENTS
Degree in finance, accounting, or a similar field3+ years of experience as a cost analyst, cost specialist, or similar roleAbility to work the 2 - 4 month contracted time frameKnowledge about accounting processes and software, specifically Sage or X3
Ability to meet deadlines and manage a varied workload
The ideal candidate will be highly analytical with enough experience to hit the ground running and complete a list of straightforward tasks. A CPA is preferred but not required.
