YOUR ROLE AS A STAFF ACCOUNTANT
This full-time position provides you with a consistent routine to showcase your accounting skills. As a Staff Accountant, you ensure the smooth operation of financial processes within the company's organization. You manage both accounts payable and accounts receivable, meticulously handling tasks such as invoice processing, expense tracking, and payment reconciliation. Your responsibilities extend to preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including comprehensive general ledger entries and financial statements.
Moreover, you play a pivotal role in supporting month-end, quarter-end, and annual finance close processes, ensuring deadlines are met with precision. You assist in preparing monthly and quarterly sales tax returns, as well as other necessary local tax filings, ensuring compliance and transparency. Beyond finance duties, you oversee various office administrative tasks, including ordering supplies, managing vendor relationships, and coordinating office events.
With a focus on continuous improvement, you seek opportunities to automate accounting processes and other business workflows using data modeling and analysis tools, driving efficiency and innovation within operations. REQUIREMENTS FOR A STAFF ACCOUNTANT
2+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a corporate environmentPrior exposure to ERP systems, with a preference for Acumatica experienceStartup experienceProficiency with ExcelAbility to work on-site
