Facilities Manager

We are excited to announce an opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Facility Manager to join our team. This position oversees daily operations, ensures optimal environmental conditions and power availability, and upholds the highest safety and security standards.In this role, you will work closely with teams, equipment, vendors, and facility resources to achieve revenue and profitability goals while maximizing customer satisfaction. You will be instrumental in maintaining our facility's smooth, reliable, and efficient functioning.

Success Criteria

• Operations and Maintenance:o Oversee the day-to-day operations, including power distribution, cooling systems, fire suppression, and security systems.o Develop, implement, and manage preventative maintenance schedules for all equipment.o Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential issues and ensure the facility meets regulatory requirements.o Monitor and troubleshoot data center systems, addressing minor issues and escalating major problems to appropriate personnel.o Manage and maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance activities and equipment performance.· Budget and Resource Management:o Manage operations and maintenance.o Secure resources and manage vendors for repairs, replacements, and upgrades.· Safety and Security:o Ensure adherence to all relevant safety and environmental regulations.o Oversee access control procedures and maintain a secure physical environment.· Communication and Collaboration:o Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations.o Clearly communicate maintenance schedules, potential risks, and any disruptions to stakeholders.o Prepare reports on performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.

Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence

• Communicate effectively with colleagues within the Business Unit and across the company so that information is disseminated effectively and participate in project groups and meetings as required· Promote the IFS model within the ISS community· Transfer best practice· Use the account to promote and further develop ISS

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 plus years of experience in facilities management.· Strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire suppression systems.· Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage preventative maintenance programs.· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.· Experience working in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment.· Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.· Proficient in MS Office Suite and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) preferred.· Valid driver's license preferred.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

• Travel would be required between two locations periodically· Walking/Inspecting the site 50% of the time· Must be able to lift a minimum of 10 pounds· Must be able to work under pressure and time deadlines during peak periods
