📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
SAP SD/OTC Test Lead
Responsibilities• Work closely with Business SMEs specific to relevant SAP functional areas to gather requirements along with BDDs, FDDs, TDDs, Mapping Documents etc.• Help/create Test Strategy and Test Plan document.• Understand requirements and covert them to Test Scenarios, Test Cases to support Functional, System Integration & Regression Testing.• Execute Test Scripts and Analyze Results.• Ensure E2E business process testing is performed for respective process areas.• Help in preparing Requirement Traceability Matrix(RTM).• Provide required information and support to test manager in conducting daily state meetings and prepare and in preparation of Daily Status Report.• Proactively bring up any risks/issues with test manager.• Create Defects, support defect triage, perform retests as needed and help in timely closure.• Leverage Test management (HP ALM/Jira/ADO) and Automation tools (UFT/ Tosca/Worksoft).• Coordinate with offshore team members to ensure timely deliverables.
Qualifications• Over 10+ years of experience in testing SAP applications involving SAP SD along with integrations with MM, FICO, PP, etc, both on SAP ECC, S/4 Hana.• 5+ years of dedicated experience in SAP SD with complete understanding of E2E OTC business process flows along with integration points.• 3+ years of Test Lead experience Testing SAP applications.• Ability to understand the configuration / ABAP code and identify the root cause and help in resolving the bugs/defects.• Experience in S/4 HANA Testing having worked on ECC to S/4 HANA migrations projects and S/4 HANA implementation projects.• Knowledge of complete STLC process along with experience on various QA deliverables across the STLC.• Experienced in working with PMs, identify Scope and create Test Strategy and Test Plan Documents.• Experienced in working with Business SMEs, understand requirements, build Test Scenarios, Test Cases, Test Execution and Analyze Results.• Experienced in Waterfall as well as Agile methodologies.• Knowledge on Test management (HP ALM/Jira/ADO) and Automation tools (UFT/Tosca/WorkSoft).• Good Communication Skills and experience in client interactions.• Preferred to have Certification in SAP or S/4 Hana SD.• Ability to work independently and in-person onsite/remotely, with willingness to travel for client engagements as needed.
