Labor and Employment Associate - Top Law Firm Group

The Associate for this practice group must have experience with management side labor and employment advice and counsel matters including compliance related issues and trainings, policies, employee contracts and restrictive covenants. Preferred litigation experience should include employment discrimination, harassment retaliation defense and contract disputes and in both federal and state courts.

The firm and group are busy across the labor and employment practice and are seeking an Associate with 2-to-5 years of measurable experience in a Big Law or peer sized firm to add to their team.

Writing skills, strong presentation abilities and the ability to communicate effectively with constituents inside and outside the firm are required. This Labor and Employment group, and the firm overall, represents an opportunity for the ideal candidate to learn and grow, collaborating with a team of senior partners, mid-career partners and associates.

Bachelor’s Degree and JD, with NY Bar admission ( in good standing) required. Compensation includes a salary of 180K-210K+, solid benefits and Associate manageable hours based bonus. The firm and this group are seeking an individual interested in building subject matter expertise with broad based practice exposure, less siloed work and more client exposure.
