Role Description This is a full-time Health Safety Environment Officer role at Jackson Demolition Service, Inc. As a Health Safety Environment Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and implementing health, safety, and environmental programs and initiatives. This includes conducting risk assessments, developing safety protocols, ensuring compliance with regulations, investigating incidents, and providing training and guidance to employees. While the role is based in Yorktown, VA, there is flexibility for some remote work.
Qualifications Experience and knowledge in Health & Safety, Environment Health and Safety (EHS), and Workplace SafetyFamiliarity with Occupational Health standards and practicesOsha 510, 500 requiredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAttention to detail and ability to prioritize tasksAbility to work independently and collaborativelyPrior experience in the demolition or construction industry is a plusBachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field
