Cash Application Specialist - Accounting

At Javitch Block LLC, we are looking for dependable and enthusiastic people interested in building a career with our great firm. Javitch Block LLC (JB) is now hiring a full-time Cash Application Specialist to join our Accounting team in our Cleveland, OH office.

This essential role is responsible for:Recording customer payments accurately and timely via multiple payment channelsProcessing refunds on overpaid accountsDaily balancing to ensure all payments are posted correctly and all checks get depositedMust be a team player, self-starter with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced processing environment.

Education/Training/Experience:Basic knowledge of MS Office ProductsMust be proficient with 10-keyMinimum typing requirement of 40 wpmBasic Mathematical SkillsAbility to problem solve and think outside the boxPrevious Experience in accounting or handling money/payments (cash, checks, wires, debit cards etc)
