Project Manager - Automotive Industry

Overview

JBT Corporation’s Automated Systems business is a global supplier of automated, self-guided vehicle systems (AGVs) to the automotive, food & beverage, hospital and consumer product manufacturing industries. With offices in the United States and Europe, we are one of the world’s leading producers of automated vehicle systems.

As a Project Manager you will support equipment builds and installations for customers within the automotive manufacturing industry.

Remote friendly role - You must live within 2 hours from a major airport)

Responsibilities

You will report to the business segment manager.

As a project manager you will

support projects aligned to the Automotive manufacturing industryDetermine Contract terms & conditions and milestonesMaintain Project SchedulesTechnical writing – develop Functional SpecificationsDesign and Technical reviews – conduct with internal and customer teamsProduction/Purchasing – coordination with managers for schedule commitmentsRisk management

Financial Responsibilities

Budget – maintaining and improving project marginsForecasting – all project expenditures

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management requiredBS degree required (Engineering Discipline)Ability to travel up to 25% requiredProject management experience or certification working with external customersMaintain financial budgets and forecastsManage Contractors - electrical and mechanical during product installationsYou must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future.
