Overview: a large financial institution is seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Auditor for a contract position based in Chicago, IL.
As an IT Auditor, you will play a critical role in evaluating and ensuring the effectiveness of information technology controls within our organization. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our IT security and compliance measures while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Qualifications:Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or similar professional certification preferred.Proven experience in IT auditing, risk assessment, and compliance within a corporate environment, preferably in the financial services or healthcare industry.Strong understanding of IT governance frameworks, such as COBIT, ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, and ITIL.Familiarity with regulatory requirements, such as Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), and General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is a plus.Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
