📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
JCW is working with a dynamic private equity firm focused on middle-market companies seeking a Tax Manager. The company strives to enhance operational excellence and growth within their portfolio. This person will be integral in managing partnership tax compliance, reporting, and planning for the portfolio companies. This role collaborates with senior members of the team, advisors, and portfolio management to ensure precise, effective tax strategies aligned with the business’s goals.
Responsibilities:Handle all partnership compliance for varied fundsQuarterly and annual tax reportingK1 and tax return reviewAssisting with investor tax requestsConnect with external tax advisors and fund administratorsWork directly with Tax Director and assist in more complex transactions including portfolio company tax reporting, M&A issues, distributions to limited partners, waterfall analysis and internal allocations.
Qualifications:5+ years of partnership tax experienceCPA is a plus, but not a mustEffective communicator, collaborating with teams, management, and advisorsOrganized, detail-oriented, adept at multitasking and meeting deadlines.
