Our client, in Automotive Industry is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer to join their team. The main function of a manufacturing process engineer is to direct the development and/or improvements of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Job Title: Manufacturing Process Engineer
Location: Lake Orion(Warren) MI
Pay Range:$37-$39/hr
What’s the Job?
Propose and evaluate manufacturing process and equipment for assigned areas.Meet plant goals and standards in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.Coordinate the effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment in supporting SPQRC initiatives. Evaluate expenditures for processes and/or equipment.Provide technical assistance and training for assigned plant operations.Works closely with production and maintenance personnel and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects. Analyze tooling and equipment and select proper steps for solution.Communicate with internal and external business units. Support plants in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost goals. Support and implement the QS9000/ISO14001/(GMS) Global Manufacturing System compliance processes.
What’s Needed?
Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related discipline. 5-7 years of experience required. Need manufacturing automotive plant experience. Need mechanically inclined candidates General knowledge of construction as we will be going through a lot of construction phases installing a lot of stuff- equipment, conveyors, etc.
