We are currently seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Consulting Accounts Payable Specialist to join our highly esteemed Finance team. Responsibilities
As a Consulting Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be responsible for
Managing and processing all aspects of accounts payable, including 1099, invoicing, invoices, expense reports, and check requests. Executing 3 way match for invoices to ensure accuracy and completeness. Performing data entry tasks with high precision and speed. Processing wire transfers and handling other forms of payments. Assisting in the preparation of financial audits, ensuring all financial documents and reports are accurate and ready for review. Collaborating with the finance team to develop and implement financial strategies. Analyzing financial data and creating reports to assist in decision making. Identifying and resolving any discrepancies in financial reports and documents. Ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
To be considered for this exciting role, you should have
A minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounts payable role or similar. Proficiency in managing 1099, invoicing, invoices, expense reports, and check requests. Experience in 3 way match and data entry. Knowledge of wire transfers and other payment methods. A strong background in financial audit prep and execution. Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions based on accurate and timely analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite. A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
