Job Details
Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems, software, hardware, and end-users. Install, Modify, diagnose, and repair computer hardware, printers, and software Walk employees through problem-solving process Respond to queries either in person or over the phone Set up and maintenance of software, mobile devices and handheld scanners Understanding of TCP/IP networking, switches, and firewalls Maintain open communication channels with colleagues and management to resolve issues Develop and facilitate certain application training for key user applications; and documentation Recommend and implement process improvements Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Minimum Requirements
Education – Associate degree or equivalent IT work experience. Experience – Two to four years of experience as an IT Specialist. Work ethic – A sense of urgency in meeting critical and time sensitive deadlines. Accuracy – Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build very good working relationship with managers, workforce and customers. Technical Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Office 365, Desktops, laptops and tablets. A combination of the above will also be considered.
