Duties
Provide strong leadership and effective management to the teams.Delegate tasks, foster collaboration, and maintain a positive work environment.Contribute to departmental strategy development and execute plans efficiently.Analyze market trends and adapt strategies to drive growth and improvement.Ensure smooth day-to-day operations and monitor performance metrics.Implement best practices and SOPs to optimize efficiency and quality.Mentor team members, identify training needs, and conduct performance evaluations.Collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders.Identify issues, develop solutions, and make informed decisions promptly.Ensure compliance with regulations, policies, and mitigate risks proactively.Foster a culture of innovation, solicit feedback, and implement process improvements.
Requirements
Doctorate Hold a DVM or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited school.Licensure Possess an active veterinary license, current DEA and controlled substance licenses, and USDA Category Accreditation (or obtain within two months of hire).Surgical Proficiency Demonstrate proficiency in anesthesia and routine surgeries, including spays, neuters, mass removals, and dentals for dogs and cats.Empathy Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor in emotional or stressful situations.
