Job Details
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Associate Attorney in Insurance Defense. The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling civil litigation cases, providing legal advice, conducting research, and negotiating settlements. This role requires a strong understanding of insurance defense cases and, preferably, government liability defense matters. The Associate Attorney will work closely with clients, develop strategies for case resolution, and represent clients in court proceedings.
Qualifications
Experience in civil and business litigation, with a focus on insurance defense
Experience With Governmental Liability Cases Preferred.
Ability to provide legal advice and conduct thorough research
Excellent negotiation and dispute-resolution skills
Effective written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented and analytical mindset
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in the State Bar of Arizona
Previous trial experience is a plus
