Job Details
Key Responsibilities
Lead and oversee audit engagements, primarily for clients within the construction sector. Prepare/review audit risk assessments Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and best practices, keeping in mind the unique financial structures of construction projects. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their financial statements accurately represent their operations and are in compliance with professional and industry guidelines. Prepare/review workpapers, financial statements, including footnote disclosures Stay updated with evolving accounting and auditing standards, especially those pertinent to the construction industry.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field CPA required Applied understanding of GAAP, GAAS, SSARS, and quality control standards Minimum of 5 years of audit experience and preference for a strong focus on the construction industry. Proficiency with audit software and familiarity with construction-specific financial systems. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. Leadership qualities and a team-oriented approach.
