Responsibilities

Prepare detailed engineering designs for construction projects, including site layouts, grading plans, utility designs, and erosion control plans. Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure project objectives and timelines are met. Perform site evaluations, feasibility studies, and cost analysis to ensure projects are viable and cost-effective. Provide technical guidance and supervision to junior engineers and design staff. Work closely with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure all projects meet the highest standards of quality and safety. Review and approve project drawings and specifications, ensuring the designs are accurate, appropriate, and in compliance with established engineering standards and practices. Manage and coordinate land development projects from inception to completion. Develop and maintain relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Participate in project meetings, providing updates and insight into the engineering aspects of the project. Continuously update knowledge and skills to keep up with advances in technology and industry trends.

Job Details

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field from an accredited institution. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the civil engineering field with a focus on construction and land development. Professional Engineer (PE) license is Required Proficient in engineering design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar. Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations. Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Self-motivated, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality work. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various project sites as needed.
