Job Details
Responsibilities
Supporting a PLC controlled 120 wide tandem flexible PVC extrusion coating line Set up, operate, breakdown and clean all components, along with proper processing parameters to optimize line speeds and yields Safe operation of forklifts to transport materials to workstations. Ensure proper quality review of the product on workstations assigned. Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED Prior experience with plastics, vinyl coating, lamination, or printing production highly desirable Prior forklift certification and experience. Ability to read and write English Good verbal communications skills Understanding of how to use a touchscreen (PLC) production line Ability to learn and understand technology associated with plastics processing
Must Haves
Ability to lift 50 pounds Ability to tolerate extreme temperatures Stoop, kneel, crawl, climb Stand and walk for the majority of an 12 and 8 hour shifts Ability to climb stairs Ability and willingness to work overtime if required Availability and willingness to cover any shift with prior notification
24/7 shifts
A- Sun, Mon, Tues, every other Wed 6am to 6pm (10% differential) (1 opening) B- Sun, Mon, Tues, every other Wed 6pm to 6am (20% differential) (4 openings) C- Thu, Fri, Sat, every other Wed 6am to 6pm (10% differential)(1 opening) D-Thu, Fri, Sat, every other Wed 6pm to 6am (20% differential) (1 opening) M-48 is M-Thu 6am to 4pm (no differential) (4 openings)
