Our dynamic and rapidly growing manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and motivated Permanent Production Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing our production operations, ensuring that they run smoothly and effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to contribute to our company's efficiency, productivity, and growth.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Production Supervisor, your duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to
Supervising the production process and ensuring compliance with production schedules. Reviewing workloads and manpower to ensure targets are met on a cost-effective basis. Managing the production team to maximize productivity and efficiency. Ensuring the production process adheres to policies and procedures. Conducting quality inspections, identifying any issues, and implementing appropriate solutions. Ensuring all health and safety guidelines are followed strictly. Training new employees and coaching existing employees. Reporting and tracking production-related information. Collaborating with other departments to optimize production processes. Implementing and driving continuous improvement activities through the implementation of change management processes and best practices.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Permanent Production Supervisor position, the candidate must have the following qualifications
A minimum of 3 years experience as a Production Supervisor in the manufacturing industry. Proven experience in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful, and results-oriented team. Strong knowledge of production procedures and quality inspections. Excellent organizational and leadership abilities. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate communication and a supportive environment. A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach. Proficient in MS Office and other software used in the production process. Problem-solving skills and a creative approach for new ideas. A degree in Business Management or a related field is preferred.
