This is a unique opportunity to work on local projects and earn top dollar. If you’re passionate about the Engineering industry and have a strong background in Concrete, Civil, Heavy Highway, Sitework, and Excavation, we want to hear from you. Our company is a leading firm, known for delivering high-quality projects on time and within budget. As a Permanent Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in our ongoing success.
Responsibilities
As a Permanent Superintendent, your responsibilities will include but not limited to
Overseeing all stages of project life cycle and ensuring that projects are completed within the set timeframes and budgets. Coordinating and directing construction workers and subcontractors, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities. Reviewing and interpreting project blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure project accuracy and integrity. Ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards, and enforcing strict compliance with all regulations and guidelines. Handling any on-site issues or emergencies promptly and professionally. Managing and maintaining relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members. Conducting regular site inspections and providing regular progress reports to management.
Qualifications
To be considered for the Permanent Superintendent position, candidates should meet the following criteria
A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry. Extensive knowledge and experience in Concrete, Civil, Heavy Highway, Sitework, and Excavation. Proven track record of managing large-scale projects from conception to completion. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. A relevant degree or certification in Engineering or a related field is preferred. Proficiency in project management software and other relevant computer applications. A strong commitment to safety and quality standards.
