Responsibilities
As a Permanent Trust and Estate Attorney, you will be expected to
Provide comprehensive legal advice to high net worth clients regarding estate planning, probate, and trust litigation. Draft, review, and revise a wide range of legal documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives. Manage all aspects of probate and trust administration, including court filings, asset valuations, final accountings, and distributions. Represent clients in probate and trust litigation matters in court. Collaborate with other members of the legal team to develop and implement strategic legal solutions.
Job Details
To be considered for this role, you must have
A Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school. Admission to the South Carolina Bar. A minimum of 3 years of experience in trust and estate law, with a strong focus on high net worth estate planning and probate and trust litigation. Strong knowledge of the legal principles and practices related to trust and estate law. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal concepts to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
