Job Overview

Joe Mineo Creative is looking for an experienced and goal-orientated Marketing & Business Development Director. The director will support business objectives, develop innovative ways to generate business leads, foster and expand client and vendor relationships, execute business development activities, oversee and approve all social media activity and engagement, and brainstorm creative opportunities to advance the brand. Ideally this candidate will be a creative thinker with the ability to stay on-task and detail oriented in order to get the job done.

Responsibilities

Develop an innovative marketing plan including strategics to grow the business and generate new leadsStreamline the existing brand and implement techniques to strengthen the brand across all platforms including marketing material and collateralCollaborate with business advisors to prepare and monitor the marketing budget on an annual basis and allocate funds wiselyMaintain existing business relationships within the Youngstown, Pittsburgh, and Cleveland markets as well as develop new strategic partnerships with outside marketsManage and approve a social media calendar, including all copy, content, and engagementDevelop and implement marketing campaigns (including email marketing) that increase sales efforts, lead generation, and brand awarenessResearch and present analysis on organic vs. paid acquisition channels like content creation, content curation, pay per click campaigns, publicity, social media, lead generation campaigns, copywriting, performance analysisOversee the maintenance of company website, working alongside the Graphic DesignerLead the company on photography of events and general day-to-day tasks to capture content for social media and other platforms – create a consistent program and train employees on photo capturingManage online and print wedding submissions to organizations like The Knot, Inside Weddings, etc. and cultivate new relationshipsMeasure and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, gain insight and assess against goals and adjust plans accordinglyTravel to various markets to gain new leads, business relationships, and “keep an eye” on the ground for new business opportunitiesCultivate thought leadership opportunities to establish Joe Mineo as a thought leader in the event industry by securing speaking opportunities, interviews with local and national media sources to be able to influence and inspire the event industry as a wholePitch new media outlets to introduce Joe Mineo Creative to outside marketsTrack emerging market and trends, as well as new and growing markets

Requirements

5+ years in marketing, sales, or business administration or a related work experienceBachelor’s degree in business administration marketing, or equivalent related work experienceA strong creative thinker ideally with a detail-oriented mindsight in solving problemsDriven leader with meticulous attention to detail and comfortable in fast paced environment working with a collaborative teamProvide a proven track record and portfolio of successful business campaigns and the ROI that was brought back to the companyProven experience in identifying target audiences and in creating marketing campaigns that engage, educate and motivateExcellent interpersonal communication skills both written and oral with strong experience in client relationsIn-depth knowledge and understanding of marketing trends and platformsProven success in generating leads through innovative lead management skills and tools
