Your Responsibilities

As Part Time Student-Quality Engineer for John Deere Waterloo Works (TCAO) located in Waterloo, IA, you will...

Identify and implement cost reduction, quality, safety and ergonomic improvement ideas of limited scope.Provide support and basic trouble shooting for current operations.Assist in root cause analysis, containment, and corrective actions for issues.

This position is not available to students on immigration visas.

What Skills You Need

Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in an engineering, technical, data and analytics, or management discipline; others may apply.Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited college/university.Graduation date of May 2025 or later.Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above.Available to work during the academic year 16-20 hours/weekly.Available to work during the summer semester 35-40 hours/weekly.Must be able to commute to the work location in Waterloo, Iowa, on a daily basis year-round.
