What You Will Do
How you will do it
Create 3D solid models and generate 2D drawings, including bills of material to design special customer orders of HVAC equipment. Create 3D solid models and generate 2D drawings, including bills of material for new product development.Design sheet metal parts and assemblies.Create and understand basic electrical diagrams.Maintain existing product documentation including product improvement and corrections to drawings.Interact with production personnel to clarify drawings and provide direction to ensure product is built to print.Work with each department including Purchasing, Sales and Production Planning.Ensure assigned projects are completed to schedule.Other duties may be assigned.
What We Look For
Associate/Technical Degree or equivalent combined education and experience.3-5 years of experience in product design in a manufacturing environment.Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D modeling and AutoCAD.Skill in use of email and Microsoft Office software.Prefer experience with MAPICS or equivalent MRP system.Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making abilities.Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
