📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Johnson Controls is looking for a Unit Tester/Repair for our 1st shift production lines. This candidate is responsible for final inspection of the unit and repairs the unit if needed. Apply now for consideration
In This Role, You Will
Perform mechanical tests on finished units such as heat systems, fans, blowers, etc.Evaluate test results and perform necessary repairs.Ensure units are in compliance with Federal standards on Freon emissions.Provide feedback and repair data to other associates to identify problems and implement corrective measures in the assembly line process.Certify the quality of each unit produced to ensure it meets product standards
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalencyKnowledge of electrical test equipment: Hi-pot probe, Multimeter, Amp Probe, Amp meter, Auto-test and associated probes/sensors, Flame probe, Charge equipment, Pressure gauges, HLD.Basic understanding of electrical principles, e.g. function of relays, capacitors, switches, voltage, current, etc.
This is for our 1st shift fabrication team working Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm with some mandatory overtime on the weekend.
