Overview
Johnson Financial Group is looking for an Investment Intern for Summer 2024 in Downtown Milwaukee.
As an Investment Intern with JFG, you will gain hands on experience working in our Wealth department specifically with the Portfolio Management, Investment Research, Financial Planning, and Trading teams. Johnson Wealth is the largest Registered Investment Advisor in Wisconsin and is a top 50 RIA in the US. As an intern, you will be provided with job skills and training, personal development, and networking opportunities.
During this internship you will
Learn about JFG’s investment process and philosophy for portfolio construction Support Portfolio Managers and Investment Analysts in various ad-hoc projects Gain exposure to high-net worth individuals and corporate clients and attend client meetings with members of the Wealth team Participate in strategy meetings for Equities, Fixed Income, and Alternatives Meet with external partners such as fund managers and research providers Assist with quarterly performance reporting and investment commentary Utilize applications such as MorningStar, Excel, Bloomberg, and other financial tools
Qualifications
Actively seeking a degree in finance, economics, or related field Junior or Senior standing Minimum GPA of 3.0 Member of a financial or investment organization a plus
Duration: 10 weeks June 3 rd – August 9 th 2024
Salary: $18.00/ hour
