As the Indirect Sourcing Manager, this role will be responsible to drive cost savings and support business goals that optimize indirect procurement channels. Review contracts for indirect goods and services with internal partners, legal and suppliers and procurement leadership. Collaborate with internal customers and negotiate terms with suppliers to ensure business objectives are met. This role offers a chance to define an impact to a fast-growing organization in one of J&Js key growth areas of Surgical Robotics. The Indirect Sourcing Manager will act as Procurement Lead on broad critical initiative projects that support our long-term operational strategy for Auris Health, Inc and the Robotics and Digital solutions portfolio comprised of 3 platforms. This role provides an outstanding opportunity to make a business impact procure to pay strategies across multiple functions to ensure the organization can achieve long term business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Leads and negotiates Indirect cost savings projects for the portfolio, across 3 platformsReviews & optimizes contracts with support of stakeholders, legal and Procurement Leadership such as MSA-Master Services/Supply Agreement and Terms and Conditions reviewsLead projects with high visibility and risk to businessGenerate RFQ/RFPs to suppliers to drive organization needs and best ROIAnalyze sourcing decision for best time and quality path to internal teamsOptimize contract terms with suppliers in shortest possible iterative cycleTrack multiple projects and coordinate supplier results against achievementsLead and balance process and procedure changes in highly matrixed organizationAnticipate and demonstrate actions that drive better business outcomes in the indirect sourcing space for the organizationBuilds supplier & internal partnerships to drive business outcomesLead and facilitate supplier performance conversations in support of business goalsDirect end users with P2P needs to fast & comprehensive resolutionFind new sources of supply in partnership with J&J category leadersBuilds operational efficiencies that impact user population and drive better business outcomesSupport initiatives on Procurement Citizenship including diversity and inclusion

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor's Degree is required.

Experience and Skills

A minimum of 6 years of Indirect Sourcing experience is required Ariba tools experience or similar preferred SAP req to PO Experience & project Software toolkit is preferred Track record of optimally completing complex projects (time, cost, quality) is required Asset and facilities procurement experience is desired Demonstrated Supplier cost negotiations experience required Project experience for critical projects of significant risk is an asset Professional (APICS-CPIM or CSCP and/or PMP or CAPM ISM, Lean, Six Sigma) Certification is preferred Experience in Medical Devices industry, Knowledge of regulated environment in compliance to ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 preferred Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Adaptable to meet & respond to constantly evolving priorities in a high ambiguity environment Previous experience in highly matrixed large organization & start-up environment is desired May require up to 10% domestic travel

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $113,000 to $195,730.

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market.

The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/ performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
