Job Description
GIS Technician - AL Remote
Johnson Service Group Inc has immediate opening for a GIS Technician, ideally in Birmingham, AL area. The position is REMOTE and contract-to-hire position with competitive starting pay. This is a great opportunity to join a well-respected engineering firm and work on some high profile telecom projects.
Responsibilities include drafting ongoing telecom projects utilizing GIS / CAD mapping software.
Qualifications
1+ years experience with GIS ArcMap or similar software, AutoCAD or Microstation is a plus ESRI is a plus Mapping experience is a big plus Must have a Desktop and Monitor for Remote work Detail-oriented and organized; ability to provide complete detailed drawings Strong analytical skill and problem-solving mentality Excellent computer skills (Microsoft Office) Strong oral and written communication skills Telecommunications mapping/utilities experience is a plus Consideration will be given to entry level graduates with a degree in AutoCAD or GIS.
