Semi-Finished Goods Planner
Position Overview
As part of Johnsonville’s Supply Chain team, the Semi-Finished Goods Planner will have the opportunity to develop and manage the execution of a short-to-medium range semi-finished goods production plan across all internal Fresh and Fully Cooked production facilities. This position reports to the Director of Supply Chain Planning and will work closely with our master scheduling and production scheduling functions.
Responsibilities
Leverage your understanding of the Johnsonville Manufacturing network to create a semi-finished goods plan which supports finished goods production needs at an optimized cost Develop and execute planning strategies and ensure adherence to the semi-finished goods planMaintain Supply Network Planning master data (material, resource, inventory) in the o9 planning system for semi-finished goods materials Develop the plan, and coordinate the execution of the weekly and monthly meat & formulation needs across internal production facilitiesPartner with other Johnsonville functional areas to develop an optimized meat plan based on cost, demand, and capacityMonitor functional metrics for attainment ensuring, performance to plan and addressing gaps with the appropriate operations resourcesServe as the Supply Chain lead for cross-functional projects and initiativesExecute capacity modeling as part of both weekly tactical planning and our monthly IBP processCreate and maintain exception reports to proactively identify planning gaps
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or Operations Management is preferred; but will consider significant related experience
Experience
3 to 5 years’ experience in Production Planning, Scheduling or Operations Leadership requiredExperience in CPG Food industry strongly preferred Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems requiredExperience in Sales and Operations Planning process preferred

Requires strong communication skills (verbal, written) Strong ability to manage priorities and deal with ambiguityDemonstrated learning agilityDemonstrated ability to quickly build and maintain relationshipsAbility to negotiate to gain acceptance for ideas Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
