Summary: The Senior Manager IT Infrastructure Servers and Storage directs and oversees the strategic planning, implementation, and maintenance of servers and storage infrastructure projects across the enterprise. This role entails leadership, coordination, and collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to ensure project success and optimize infrastructure efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:Orientate, lead, mentor, and set the strategic direction for servers and storage infrastructure functions across the enterprise.Drive innovation by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance servers and storage infrastructure.Evaluate IT industry trends and assess their impact on current and future servers and storage infrastructure needs.Collaborate with business unit executives and IT leaders to define initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency.Interface with business unit executives and other IT functional area executives to define infrastructure support initiatives and solutions for improving service efficiency and effectiveness.Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure servers and storage infrastructure capacity meets present and future requirementsDevelop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated training plans for infrastructure resource administration and appropriate use.Establish and enforce policies, procedures, and training plans for servers and storage infrastructure resource management.Ensure the security and integrity of servers and storage infrastructure by implementing and enforcing security protocols and best practices.Actively seek feedback and criticism from stakeholders and team members and use it to drive continuous improvement and find the right solutionsManage servers and storage infrastructure assets, including inventory and life cycle management.Plan, procure, and oversee installation of servers and storage infrastructure hardware and software.Optimization of processes using automation tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.Ensure optimal operation of all servers and storage infrastructure hardware and equipment.Develop and implement data lifecycle management policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of data from creation to disposal.Oversee the backup and archiving of data to ensure its availability, integrity, and recoverability.Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with data retention and disposal policies and regulations.Maintain regular communication with executives, stakeholders, and end users regarding servers and storage infrastructure activities.Manage operational costs, conduct financial forecasts, and manage budget for servers and storage infrastructure and planned enhancements.Collaborate with vendors, support companies, and contracts for IT servers and storage infrastructure.Ensure compliance with global standards and documentation for servers and storage infrastructure.Supervisory responsibilities.

Qualifications:Strong critical thinker and decision maker.Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.Project management and strong ability to prioritize workloads. Firm grasp of infrastructure and operations best practices. IT Budget, forecast.Proficiency with infrastructure operating systems and network security protocols.

Education and Experience:Associate degree or equivalent. Bachelor’s degree preferred.10+ years of IT experience in related field.Demonstrated success in delivering servers and storage infrastructure projects on time, within budget, and with high quality.Strong knowledge of servers and storage infrastructure components, including physical and virtual servers, SAN, NAS, backup, recovery, and security.Ability to work effectively with diverse and geographically dispersed teams.Certification in Project Management (PMP), ITIL, or other relevant frameworks is advantageous
