JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties: Design, develop and implement software solutions. Solve business problems through innovation and engineering practices. Analyze, plan and implement business processes to ensure smooth and timely delivery of projects. Liaise between the technology teams and product teams to understand product requirements and provide innovative and efficient solutions. Involved in all aspects of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) including analyzing requirements, incorporating architectural standards into application design specifications, documenting application specifications, translating technical requirements into programmed application modules, and developing or enhancing software application modules. Identify or troubleshoot application code-related issues. Ensure solutions are aligned to pre-defined architectural specifications. Assist with design reviews by recommending ways to incorporate requirements into designs and information or data flows. Participate in project planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, and team members to analyze business requirements and outline proposed solutions. Manage a team of developers and work with them on project planning, project management and product delivery.

Qualifications

Minimum education and experience required: three (3) or four (4) years Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus Seven (7) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, IT Project Manager, or related occupation.

Skills Required: Requires experience in the following: Typescript; Java; Graph Database; Node JS; Webpack; AWS; asset management data models; data structures and big data infrastructure including S3 object storage; cloud infrastructure including AWS and Azure; Trino; and Terraform.

Job Location: 575 Washington Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07310. Telecommuting permitted up to 40% of the week.

Full-Time. Salary: $285,000.00- $325,000.00 per year.
