What This Position Is About

You will be supporting the efficient and compliant operations of JTI Leaf Services storage and shipping operations at the factory and any JTI offsite storages. This also includes ensuring adherance to all product quality, traceability and safety guidelines. You will also be responsible for managing assigned Warehouse team (6-8 direct reports).

Who Are We Looking For - Requirements

At least 3 years of work experience, preferrably in Tobacco and/or warehousing industryForklift driver's license (with practical experience)Communication and teamwork skillsImpeccable work ethic and focus on growth

What will you be doing? - Responsibilities

Maintain awareness of and ensure all policies and best practices are consistently implemented. Effectively manage warehouse staff and ensure they have a clear understanding of policies. Assist in training the staff as required. Monitor daily activities and inform warehousing manager if you identify an opportunity to strengthen any policies.Responsible for monitoring and managing inventory movements for adherance to FIFO and traceability policies as well as ensuring proper product segregation (both physically and within information systems) depending on the inventory status.Conduct inventory spot checks regularly to confirm physical and virtual case counts match. Resolve any inconsistencies identified. Train staff to conduct self checks as part of the daily routineCoordinate export shipments as required to any of our customers. This includes upholding all corporate and legally required shipping procedures through continual monitoring of activities and staff. Includes ensuring the correct product is shipped and all packaging and labeling is up the required standards. Also ensure all safety guidelines are upheld during the loading processContinually monitor and inspect the facility and all equipment used in the department. Document any building or equipment defects and report to manager and/or maintenance department to ensure any required repairs are implemented quickly to protect our people, property and products.Prepare and coordinate shipping plan for products being moved to any JTI offsite storage. Ensure product is shipped sequentially to support efficient and accurate storage of products by batch or MoPI number.
