Production Supervisor
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
JDP is currently seeking a Production Supervisor in the Allentown, PA area for a Major Metal Manufacturing company.
Responsibilities:Lead the shop team in meeting production goals and quality standards, following company policies, customer needs, and regulations.Supervise daily operations, work schedules, and resource allocation.Troubleshoot production issues and equipment problems to minimize downtime.Oversee equipment maintenance to ensure smooth and safe operation.Conduct quality inspections of fabricated rebar for accuracy and proper tagging.Participate in employee evaluations to recommend appropriate compensation.Operate various shop equipment like shears, benders, cranes, forklifts, etc., to ensure efficient project completion.Perform additional duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
Qualifications:Legally authorized to work in the United States.OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 a plus) highly preferred but not requiredAt least 5 years of experience in a rebar shop, manufacturing setting, or equivalent.Minimum 2 years of prior supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.Ability to operate all shop equipment safely and efficiently.
