📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
Our partner is a global manufacturer of industrial components for many industries including aerospace, automotive, defense, and industrial industries. Having been in business for 100+ years, they have facilities and clients in multiple countries. We are currently looking for a Staff Test Engineer
Responsibilities:Develop and support LabVIEW-based test executive suite for production deployment.Write LabVIEW and Python code for test system design, improvement, and high complexity testing.Participate in creating and evaluating new product test requirements and strategies.Promote and implement process improvements in engineering procedures.
Requirements:Bachelor's or master's degree in relevant field or 8+ years of professional engineering experience.Proficiency in LabVIEW and Python software development.Experience in software testing tools and Git source controlSix Sigma Green belt training preferred; National Instruments LabView, Test Stand Certificate a plus..Ability to work independently as an individual contributor.Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Additional Information:Collaboration with a six-member software team.Agile development process with two-week to month-long sprints.Focus on LabVIEW enterprise development and collaborative coding practices.
Key Points:Majority of time spent on LabVIEW coding for test executive suite.Experience in collaborative LabVIEW development and Agile methodologies preferred.Candidate should excel as an individual contributor.Minimal travel required.
