Job Overview

Due to Company growth, we are actively seeking a Electrical Pole Inspector to join our team in Long Island, NY. This is an entry level role with training and career mapping to help you build a career in the utility industry with K&A.

The starting rate for this position is $16.00/hr with an elgible increase to $19.00/hr after meeting set quotas! Candidates must be able to report to the office in Hicksville, Long Island and have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities & Duties

Entry Level Electrical Pole Inspector services include but are not limited to the following:

Take picture documentation of existing transmission and distribution poles with provided equipmentVerify assets and identification of third-party attachments to distribution and transmission pole plantsMust be able to achieve and maintain acceptable levels of productivity and quality of work to include inspection of 14 poles per hour or moreWorks in a team enviornment

Qualifications & Skills

High School Diploma or DegreeNo prior experience required; training is providedMust be at least 18 years of age or olderMust have a valid driver's licenseMust maintain a consistence attendance recordApplicants should have the knowledge, experience and skills needed to review project plans, specifications, contract enforcement, and applicable technical standards, OSHA, and other regulatory statutesAbility to work on uneven and rugged terrain and in many different elements of weatherMust be able to provide own transportation to worksite in Hicksville, NY.
