Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Maintenance Technician at K&S Manufacturing. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and maintenance & repair. The role requires strong industrial maintenance skills and the ability to work on-site in Ixonia, WI.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:Preventative maintenance of machines, equipment, or devices to access and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, or power tools.Repair machines, equipment, or structures, using tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, or equipment such as precision measuring instruments or electrical or electronic testing devices.Perform routine maintenance, such as inspecting drives, motors, or belts, checking fluid levels, replacing filters, and doing other preventive maintenance actions.Proceed on assignments with minimum supervision and work is subject to final inspection.Comply with policies, processes, and systems of the ISO quality management system.
QualificationsEquipment Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and Preventive Maintenance skillsMaintenance & Repair and Industrial Maintenance skillsExperience in maintaining and repairing industrial equipmentStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesAttention to detail and ability to follow maintenance proceduresExcellent communication and teamwork skillsKnowledge of safety regulations and proceduresRelated technical degree or certification is a plus
