📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
The Firearms Assembly Technician for the KAK Industry Albany Missouri facility is responsible firearms assembly, maintenance, and repair of all firearms produced at the KAK Missouri facility The Firearms Assembly Technician reports directly to the plant manager. The Firearms Assembly Technician is capable of carrying out all basic functions listed below and is expected to learn more advanced skills through additional training. Firearms Assembly Technician is a full-time hourly position with overtime available. All standard company benefits apply.
General responsibilities include but not limited to• Familiarity with all company policies and practices.• Assemble, test fire, repair, and maintain firearms at KAK Missourio Assemble and test firearms as requiredo Repair and maintain firearms as requiredo Monitor inventory levels and request supplies as neededo Maintain an organized and cleanly working areao Perform basic CNC operations• Prepare firearms and components for shipment to customer• Provide assistance to machining cells as needed• Ensuring consistent production through established quality control procedures
Requirements• Ability to lift and move 50 pounds• Ability to safely manipulate, move, and fire weapons of various types• Able to stand and move around the for the majority of an 8 hour shift• Ability to use basic hand tools• Capability of learning new skills includingo Reading technical drawingso Machine operationo Using measuring devices for quality control processes• General mechanical aptitude
Work Week• Standard 8 hours shift, Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm• Overtime may be required on occasion• All times may be adjusted based on need
