📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
This position exists to operate automated machinery for manufacturing.
This is a 2nd shift position.
Pay range is $17.90- $23.88 per hour depending upon experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines Uses computer-controlled, and/or manually-controlled equipment to select, position, and secure automatic or semi-automatic machines Controls and adjusts machine settings to complete simple tasks accurately, according to specifications, and in a timely fashion Works under the close direction of tenured personnel in the functional area Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job Observes while the machine is being repaired by a Technician Observes and follows all safety protocols Learns the use of precision measuring tools Perform daily housekeeping operations in the work area to maintain a safe workplace Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
Coursework in electronics, robotics, or electro-mechanical systems Associates Degree in related degree preferred, but not required.
Experience
3+ years of relevant machine operating experience 3+ years of experience in a high volume production environment
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Have good mechanical aptitude Familiar with a variety of gaging instruments and methods Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work orders Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently Willingness to learn
