About the role
We are seeking a Marketing specialist to join our small team and bootstrap our marketing function. This role presents an opportunity for an ambitious individual to drive growth and shape the marketing strategy for a really unique business in Kardo.ai.
The ideal candidate needs to have robust marketing skillsets and have prior experience in content creation across diverse channels. Develop strategies for brand building, customer research and product marketing to craft marketing initiatives that effectively communicate Kardo’s value proposition to our target audience, driving validation and growth.
As our first marketing team member, this individual will enjoy the flexibility to take on multiple roles and collaborate closely with the founders to define our marketing strategy and execute various initiatives. This is a hybrid role that offers flexibility for remote work in the US. Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and execute marketing content including content writing, graphic design to post on social media accounts, websites, blogs and ensure alignment with brand guidelines and marketing objectives.Conduct market research and analysis on consumer markets and competitor activities to inform and optimise marketing strategies.Monitor and analyse performance metrics for all marketing initiatives and channels to optimise marketing initiatives.Create and manage marketing plan, social media calendar using tools and generate reports to provide insights and recommendations for optimisation.Assist and support founders and investors with creating pitch decks, collaterals and any other marketing content as and when required.
Who are we looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related fields.Mid-level Professionals: 2 - 5 years of marketing experience, having at least 2+ years in a growth marketing capacity at a high growth startup or top tech company would be a plus.Fresh college graduates/graduating students with prior hands on marketing experience from internships are welcome to apply. Strong Communicator and Great Writing SkillsTech savvy – Able to leverage digital tools, social media platforms, and emerging technologies to deliver compelling marketing campaigns.Growth Oriented – Embraces challenges and sees them as opportunities for growth.Proactive and able to work both independently and in cross functional Past Experience of having work in early-stage Start-up (Pre-seed to Seed) is a plus.Important note: The initial compensation will be provided in the form of Equity Options until our fundraising is completed. Following this, a salary package will be discussed further.
