Production Engineer 1

Position Responsibilities

Create and issue batch recipes with available technical documentationEnsure implementation of proper operation procedures by Production personnelDevelop and maintain written Production operation procedures as requiredCreate and update process control standards and other Production engineering documentsCollaborate with Materials and QC department to ensure effective usage of raw materialsMonitor, collect, and analyze process batch performance data with assistanceDesign and coordinate experiments to optimize production process parameters or understand batch process conditions with assistanceMake suggestions to management for improving this position or improving work processesWork safely by observing safety rules, policies, and procedures. Identify unsafe conditions or actions to SupervisorOther duties as assigned

Skills & Experience Requirements

0 ~ 1 year experience with chemical processing equipment, including pumps, vessels, and filtersAnalytical skills related to chemical process data, preferably with semiconductorsFamiliar with statistical process control and design of experiments software experienceDetail-oriented and strong organizational skills

Education Responsibilities

BS or BA in chemical or materials engineering or applicable technical field

Typical Work Hours/Schedule/Location/Travel time

Monday - Friday 9:00 PM - 6:00 AM, and may require additional hours and weekends

Physical Demands

Sit approximately 60-70% of the day in front of a computer monitor. Visit different areas of the manufacturing facility (e.g., functional/analytical lab, packaging area, formulation area) to coordinate experiments, inspect production irregularities, or verify implementation of proper procedure.
