Production Engineering Supervisor

The Opportunity: JSR Micro is looking for a Production Engineering Supervisor to lead a group of engineers to provide support to the manufacturing of high-performance semiconductor lithography materials. The candidate has experience developing, sustaining, and improving processes and working with processing equipment in a high-volume manufacturing environment and will be responsible for coaching and mentoring engineers.

About You

BS or MS in Chemical or Materials Engineering10 years’ experience with chemical processing equipment, including pumps, vessels, and filters. Analytical skills related to chemical processes preferably in semiconductor industryStatistical process control and design of experiments software experienceDetail-oriented, good time management, and strong organizational skillsKnowledge of SAP is a plus

Here's More Of What You'll Be Doing

Manage activities of Production Engineers to ensure timely completion of production batches. Manage activities directly or indirectly, of Production Operators to ensure proper procedures are being followed to minimize mistakes, attendance policies are being followed and workload is distributed properly. Work closely with Engineering, Technical, and New Business groups on production product, lab equipment and customer related issues. Coordinate troubleshooting of problem production batches and customer complaints in a timely manner. Independently design and coordinate experiments to optimize production process parameters. Monitor, collect, and analyze process performance data under minimal or no supervision. Serve as technical liaison between Materials, Production, QC, Engineering, and Technical departments. Ensure implementation of proper operation procedures by Production personnel. Create and update process control standards and other Production engineering documents. Participate and execute Design Review and Technology Transfer activities. Troubleshoot production issues and customer quality problems related to our products. Be able to hold and lead meetings including other groups/managers/customers to resolve any productions and/or customer issues. Provide leadership and mentorship to other engineers. Make suggestions to management for improving this position, or improving work processes. Work safely by observing safety rules, policies and procedures. Identify unsafe conditions or actions to my supervisor.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.

(Salary Range - $115,000/yr to $150,000/yr)
