Senior IT Systems Engineer
📋 Role Overview & Responsibilities
JSR NAHQ is looking for a Senior IT Systems Engineer to support the IT infrastructure on-premises and in the cloud. The ideal candidate will work as a senior member of the infrastructure team and will perform a variety of tasks including support, design, administration, as well as mentoring others.
Roles & Responsibilities
Ability to resolve complex issues by determining the root cause through various techniques. Demonstrates high responsiveness to issues, including immediate communication to managers. Manages servers, systems, network communications, and security at the enterprise level. Monitors infrastructure performance, implements process improvements, and submits regular status reports. Performs task automation and implements process improvements. Leads support and maintenance, participates in project planning, and delivers presentations. Establishes and maintains relationships within the department and with other teams and vendors. Identifies opportunities for improvement. Complies with EH&S policies. Performs other assigned duties.
Skills, Experience, Education, & Training
BS Degree in Computer Science required (MS Degree preferred), or equivalent experience. 5 to 8+ years’ experience with enterprise network environment, enterprise servers, cloud services, WAN, LAN (wired and wireless), and enterprise storage. Extensive experience managing administration of operating systems, networking, virtualization, backup and recovery, cloud platforms, storage platforms, and any other infrastructure-related application software. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
(Salary Range - $115,000/yr to $150,000/yr)
