Responsibilities
A manufacturing company located in the Springfield, MA area is actively seeking an Accounting Manager for an immediate opening. The Accounting Manager will be primarily responsible for month end close, payroll, reconciliations, and managing a team of 2. The Accounting Manager will perform the following:
Month end closePayrollReconcile bank statementsSales tax reportsMaintain costing systemsVariance analysisDirect company accounting policies and proceduresReconcile inventoryDirect and coordinate annual budgetMaintain fixed assets systemAdminister 401kManage a team of 2 bookkeepers
Qualifications
Bachelors Degree in Accounting3-5 years of manufacturing experienceProven leadership abilitiesCost accounting background a plusStrong Excel experienceStrong attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skills
Compensation Package: Up to $95,000 depending on experience
